Rare Earth Green Mining
Tiongkok is working to transform the way it mines rare earth elements (REEs) in order to mitigate the environmental impacts of the process. Rare earths are a group of 17 metallic elements used in the production of high-performance components for everything from smartphones, and tablets to electric vehicle batteries and wind turbine blades.
